Frank W.
Lang is the president of Lang Law Firm PLLC. Mr.
Lang is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law
Attorneys, the American Bar Association, and a
member of the New York State Bar Association Section on Elder
Law. He is admitted to practice in New York and
Illinois.
Mr. Lang limits his practice to Elder
Law, including Estate Planning, Medicaid Planning,
Guardianship, and planning for people with disabilities.
He is a frequent lecturer for civic, business, and
charitable groups, including the Albany County Bar
Association, The New York State Brain Injury
Association, the ARC of Otsego, and the National
Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
Mr.
Lang supports the firm with an extensive litigation
background, including Medicaid Fair Hearings,
Family Court Support Hearings, trials before the
Supreme Court, and appeals to the Appellate Division and
the Court of Appeals.
Frank is committed to educating
the public about strategies for coping with the catastrophic
cost of long-term care, whether through Long Term Care
Insurance or Medicaid Planning. He has developed
successful strategies for emergency Medicaid Planning,
which may allow a Medicaid applicant to preserve most or
all of their assets,
even if they are already in a
nursing home.
